Mega Fortune Dreams
Millionet presents Mega Fortune Dreams, the sequel to the original Mega Fortune another huge jackpot game that we have reviewed. The game developer NetEnt has taken the previous popular life changing game and made it even richer and classier. In this game you are living the VIP lifestyle, however, its on a super yacht in paradise, with softer relaxing background music that helps transport you to a dream world of fame and fortune.
As with the original game Mega Fortune Dreams is for the high class player who wants all the luxuries while gaming. The game play is straight forward, and player friendly so you will get a feel for the game in no time. As with many of the top million jackpot games, this is a progressive jackpot slot, which means the prize pool keeps building until its won. If it’s anything like the original game, we could see jackpots as high as $18 million. As with most slot machines there are five vertical reels that you spin when you pull the slot lever (or button in this case), and when the spinning stops you will see 3 rows stacked up with all of the symbols you need to make your winning combination. On each reel are the the VIP luxury symbols of the high roller life. Whether its massive diamond rings or studded designer handbag for the ladies, or a designer watch for the men, you will have to consume plenty of champagne symbols and tropical drinks. Even the familiar poker symbols are diamond studded in this game, with your A=Ace, K=King, Q=Queen, and J=Jack. Like most slots you have a wild card which in this case are palm trees, and the scatter symbol is ... you guessed it, a huge diamond. As you can imagine, the general idea is to get as many of the same symbol as you can, with the help of palm wild cards and scatter diamonds. It wouldn’t live up to its name if there wasn’t Mega Fortune Dreams bonus wheel symbol (you will need at least three wheel of fortune symbols across the reels in order to make it to the bonus round and win the millions in jackpots).
Before you Spin
As mentioned, Mega Fortune Dreams is not a game that requires a great deal of explanation on how to play, and with a quick run down on the basics you will soon be an expert. The game will very clearly indicate each spin if you are a winner, and adjust your bankroll automatically. There are some very basic things you need to know before hitting the spin button:
PayLines (Betlines): Mega Fortune Dreams has 20 paylines or betlines (compared to the 25 lines on the original game). Paylines are the winning lines that run through the 5 reels horizontally. They are marked as small golden circle or dots on each side of the five reels, but the number of the payline only appears after a win. The game will display the winning payline with bright golden lines illustrating how the winning symbols match up across the reels. You can choose as many paylines as you wish, but remember that you can only win when symbols intersect your chosen lines, so you may want to choose all twenty paylines so you don’t miss out on any big wins.
Select Coin Value: Using the arrows simply enter how much you want each bet to represent. The minimum coin size is €0.01, which is recommended so you can start off with the lowest risk. The maximum coin value has increased from the previous game and now is €1.00.
Select Bet Level: After choosing the coin value, you then choose how many coins to bet each spin or levels they are called here, providing you with the option of levels 1-4. For example, if you choose a coin size of €0.05 and you select level four this means you are betting a total value of €.20 per spin. However, in this example if you also chose to play all twenty paylines then your cost per spin would be €.05 x 4 levels x 20 lines = €4.00 per spin. If you play with a coin value of €.01, then your cost per spin is €0.80 (€.01 x 4 levels x 20 lines). Millionet recommends that you begin play at the first level in order to keep risk low, and then slowly increase as you feel confident.
Bet Max: The maximum amount is €80 per spin (€1 x 4 levels x 20 lines), so please make sure you are prepared before using this option.
Paytable: Under the left reel you will see a golden button marked ‘i’ which when clicked displays the paytable clearly showing all of the winning combinations and their respective payout values.
Autoplay: If clicking the spin button is too tiring, go on autopilot, but don’t fall asleep you might miss out on the big jackpot. Pressing STOP ends autoplay mode.
Game Options: For those that want total control, look for the icons at the bottom left corner, you will see a few tools. The wrench controls sound and game history. The speaker icon allows you to play with sound or not. The Help menu is available by clicking on ?. The AUTO icon allows you to control the number of spins for Autoplay.
Spin (circular arrows symbol): Now the time has come to win the massive jackpot so simply press spin and get lucky! If you want the reels to stop spinning quickly you can press the spin button a second time. Pressing spacebar on your keyboard also activates spin.
How To Win
Now the fun starts and its time to press spin. As we mentioned, you are basically looking to make three or more identical symbols in your lines, but you also looking for wild and scatter symbols.
Diamond Poker Symbols: Most spins you will see diamond studded poker symbols, with the following classic symbols A=Ace, K=King, Q=Queen, and J=Jack. The minimum required for payout is 3 identical symbols, and depending on how many you land in a row, can earn you anywhere from 5 to 150 coins, with five Aces being the highest hand.
Diamond Ring: What’s nicer than a massive diamond ring still in the jewellery box, well cash is not almost as nice. When this giant diamond ring symbol appears three or more times in a row across reels, this earns you anywhere from 40 to 2000 coins and is the highest paying of the regular symbols. As you make your way through the VIP journey you will see symbols including a luxury watch, stack of cash, limousine, and whiskey & cigar. For these symbols you also need a least three identical to win, and need to be across reels (not stacked) and on your active paylines.
Luxury Watch: Millonet will leave it to your imagination as to the brand, but the men’s watch symbol is the 2nd highest payout of the regular symbols. As usual, you will need at least 3 watch symbols in a row across reels, to earn between 30 and 1000 coins. Symbols also need to land on your active paylines to win.
Diamond Handbag: For the ladies, you will be pleased to see the diamond studded designer handbags and match at least three in a row across reels (not stacked), and you win between 20 and 600 coins. Symbols also need to land on your active paylines to win.
Champagne and Cocktail: The final regular symbols you will see often are the chilled bottles of champagne on ice, and the tropical cocktail of your choice. If you match at least 3 symbols of the champagne you receive between 15 and 300 coins (5 symbols in a row earns 300 coins). If you match at least 3 of the tropical drink symbols you earn between 10 and 200. As usual, these symbols need to be across reels (not vertically stacked on one another) and on your active paylines.
Wild Palm Trees (wild symbol): While you celebrate your riches on the super yacht, you will be pleased to see tropical palm trees on the island ahead, look for this symbol which is clearly marked ‘WILD’. In Mega Fortune Dreams, compared to the original game, you need to land at least 3 wild symbols anywhere on the 5 reels to win. Wild symbols as the name suggests can be substituted for any of the normal symbols mentioned above (except scatter and and bonus symbols). By themselves they payout between 50 and 5000 coins (depending if you get 3 or 5 symbols) except if they make up another winning combination, you only win the higher of the two not both. Wild symbols can also be used in re-spins and free spins.
Wild Palm Re-spin: We mentioned above all of the great reasons to look for the wild palm trees, and here is another reason. When you see 3 wild symbols across the reels in the regular game mode you earn one re-spin with the wild symbols remaining locked in place so you have a great chance to win serious money during the re-spin depending on what combinations appear.
The Big Diamond (scatter symbol): When you see the massive diamond in blue background and the word ‘SCATTER’, there will be no mistaking it, as well as the music changes to make it more exciting as the scatter symbols appear one after the other. If you see at least three of these symbols across reels and on any active payline (they can’t be stacked vertically on top of one another) you will be congratulated and presented with the number of free spins you will receive in the round, ranging between 10 and 20 depending on the number of scatter symbols. During the free spins you start with a 3 times multiplier on all wins, however, this multiplier can be increased if you are lucky enough to get more scatter wins during the free spins. The game will keep you well informed of what multiplier you are playing, below the right reel in pink (eg. X8 would be an eight multiplier).
Bonus Game and Progressive Jackpots: This is where Mega Fortune Dreams is very similar to the original version, with three progressive jackpots, the mega, major, and rapid jackpots, all clearly displayed at the top above the reels. You can win any of these jackpots based on your success in the bonus game. However, keep in mind the higher value bets have a higher probability of winning. In order to have your opportunity in the bonus game, you need to see at least three bonus symbols (on separate reels left to right you can’t have them stacked on same reel) and landing on your paylines. Each symbol is a golden wheel of fortune displaying the word BONUS. You are then automatically taken directly to the bonus game (except this time on a superyacht in paradise), where a large wheel of fortune appears. The wheel of fortune is actually three wheels in one, outer, middle, and inner wheel. To begin the outer wheel starts spinning and you simply press ‘STOP’ when you want (click button lower right of wheel). Either you win the cash prize stated and the bonus game ends, or if you land on an arrow you advance to the middle wheel, which starts automatically. Again for the middle wheel you press ‘STOP’ when you like, and either the bonus game ends with a cash prize, you win the Rapid Progressive jackpot, or you land on an arrow to the next wheel. If you advance to the inner wheel, its the same procedure, but with higher cash prizes and a chance to win the Major progressive jackpot. Please keep in mind that winning the Mega jackpot is not simply landing on a space on the inner wheel, it is based on a completely random basis but you have to be in the inner wheel for your opportunity to make a fortune. All wins in the bonus round are based on the coin value/level/payline settings prior to the bonus round, with the maximum coin win being 7500. Once you complete the bonus round the game will calculate your additional winnings and add it to your balance.
